David Shin, M.D.

Dr. David Shin graduated from Cornell University in 1993 with Distinction in All Subjects, receiving a B.A. degree in Biology.  He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in 1997 with Honors in Research.  Dr. Shin completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  He then joined the faculty at Yale University School of Medicine as an Instructor in Surgery/Urology.

In 2003, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  This training makes him uniquely qualified among New York/New Jersey Metro area urologists as a specialist in male infertility, sexual dysfunction and vasectomy reversals.

He has won numerous awards and is widely published, presenting his research at national meetings for the American Urological Association (AUA), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the National Men’s Health Conference.  In addition to general urology and male infertility, his other areas of interest include treatments for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and andropause (low testosterone).

He is a full time physician and staff urologist at The Englewood Hospital, Holy Name Hospital, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital and The Valley Hospital.  Dr. Shin has office hours at the Oradell and Englewood Cliffs locations.
