Ken Blank, M.D.

Dr. Blank is a Radiation Oncologist presently seeing patients at Hackensack Radiation Therapy.  Dr. Blank works closely with the Urologists at Urology Specialty Care when a multi-specialty approach to treating urologic cancers calls for radiation therapy.

Dr. Blank trained in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was Chief Resident in 1999.  He completed his undergraduate education at Duke where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.  He went to medical school at Albert Einstein, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  His work has been published in numerous journals, including JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association).

In his 11 years in practice, he has treated 1,000′s of patients.  Of those, nearly 1,000 have been prostate cancer patients.  His particular interest and expertise in prostate cancer make his alliance with Urology Specialty Care a natural fit. 

Dr. Blank is presently seeing and treating patients at our state of the art treatment center in Hackensack.  Our equipment includes a top of the line Eleckta linear accelerator with IMRT and IGRT capabilities allowing treatments with millimeter accuracy.
