Vasiliki L. Saitas, M.D., FCAP
Dr. Vasiliki Saitas is a board-certified pathologist with additional certifications in Cytopathology, currently serving as the Laboratory Medical Director of Urology Specialty Care, PA. In addition, she also holds the position of Medical Laboratory Director at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center, Bergen Gastroenterology and is the President and Owner of Biopath Diagnostic Associates.
Dr. Saitas graduated magna cum laude with her undergraduate and medical degree from Athens University Medical School in Greece, before completing residency training in Pathology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident. To further specialize her knowledge, Dr. Saitas also completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UMDNJ for several years.
Her work has appeared in several publications regarding developments in the field of cytopathology and related treatments. Throughout her training and experience, Dr. Saitas has remained actively involved in research within her field, in order to offer patients the most advanced treatment options.
