Sam H. Hessami, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Sam H. Hessami has over ten years of experience and specializes in urogynecology at Urology Specialty Care, as well as serving as the Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and Director of the Fellowship Program at St. Joseph’s University Hospital.
After graduating with his medical degree from New York Medical College, Dr. Hessami completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University, and then specialized his focus on Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He continued his studies there as a NIH Scholar for an additional year.
Actively involved in the medical community, Dr. Hessami is a member of several professional organizations, including:

- American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists
- International Urogynecology Association
His work has been published in book chapters, articles and also appeared in videos regarding developments in urogynecology and its related conditions.
